Plan the experience, not just the stop.
Plan your Kashmir itinerary around travel days, pickup and drop points, hotel nights and activities. Compare routes before requesting your personalised quote.
Start with the days you actually have
Count your arrival and departure days as part of the trip. A four-day holiday does not automatically provide four full sightseeing days. A late arrival or early departure reduces the time available. Write down flight or train details first, then decide which destinations fit comfortably between those transfers.
Confirm pickup and drop independently
Your arrival point determines the starting route, while your departure point determines the final transfer. Srinagar pickup usually starts with the city. Jammu pickup begins with a different journey, including the longer arrival transfer towards Pahalgam. Do not assume the drop must match pickup: provide both locations and let the team assess the complete route.
Choose the balance between bases and excursions
Staying several nights in Srinagar can reduce hotel changes while allowing day trips. A night in Pahalgam brings a different overnight setting but also means packing, checking out and arranging the next transfer. Neither approach is automatically better. Decide whether your group values a stable base or more variety in its stays.
Match the route to the duration
The 3-night Kashmir Escape combines Srinagar, Gulmarg and Sonamarg. Five nights add a dedicated Srinagar sightseeing day and a Pahalgam overnight stay. Six nights allow Doodhpathri, while seven nights also include Aharbal Waterfall. The 8-night route gives Pahalgam a dedicated sightseeing day before returning to Srinagar. These are different route patterns, not just the same itinerary with spare hotel nights.
List activities separately from destinations
Seeing “Gulmarg” on an itinerary does not mean Gondola tickets are included. Similarly, local Pahalgam sightseeing can require separate taxi arrangements. List your priority activities, ask whether each is included and understand how the timing fits the transfer. Decide which activities matter to your group before the quote is confirmed.
Specify rooms, children and meals accurately
Provide adult numbers, children’s exact ages and your required room distribution. Double, triple, quad and family rooms are different accommodation requests. An extra bed should be recorded clearly. State your meal preferences and houseboat requirements as well, so the quote is based on the travellers who will actually make the trip.
Review every overnight and departure line
Read the itinerary from one evening to the next morning. The location where you sleep determines the starting point for the following day. If the last night is in Pahalgam and the departure is from Srinagar, allow for that transfer in the plan. The final day should describe the drop arrangement, not add an overnight stay that is not part of the booking.
Confirm the written plan before payment
Ask for the final route, named stays, room arrangements, vehicle, meal plan, inclusions and applicable booking terms. Resolve questions at this stage rather than assuming changes can be made after arrival. Once everyone agrees on those details, the quote and itinerary become a much clearer basis for your holiday.
Keep exploring.
